1st Shawwal (Eid Al-Fitr) 1444 is on Friday 21st of April, 2023
There are reported optical aid sightings of the new crescent in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Qatar on the eve of Thursday 20 April, 2023/ 29 of Ramadan 1444. As the day progresses and concludes towards the western hemisphere, we are expecting numerous naked eye and optical aid sightings in North and South America.
Accordingly, 1st Shawwal ('Eid Al-Fitr) will be on Friday 21st of April, 2023.
