Ramadan 1447
New crescent for the month of Ramadan 1447 has been sighted by modern optical aid in Saudi Arabia on the eve of 29th Sha'aban/ 17th February. Islamic authorities in Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have declared the commencement of the blessed month of Ramadan. Accordingly, the Crescent Council of Canada declares Ramadan as follows:

1st Tarawih: Tuesday 17 February, 2026
1st Day of Fasting: Wednesday 18 February, 2026
