Dhul-Hijjah 1440 (Eid Al-Adha 2019)
The Crescent Council of Canada has verified sightings of the new crescent on the eve of August 1st, 2019 (Dhul Qa'adah 29, 1440). The new moon was seen and confirmed by the Supreme Judiciary Council of Saudi Arabia. Numerous moon committees and Muslim countries have accepted these sightings including United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Malaysia. We are expecting more sightings as the day progresses in the west. Accordingly,
